Compensation Policy
Based on my years of experience, I would prefer to avoid charging clients on an hourly basis and instead charge a set fee based on estimated time and efforts that I will be devoting to the client for a particular project or for services on an ongoing basis. The agreed fee would only vary prospectively and then only by our mutual agreement.
I am very willing to discuss lowering or even eliminating what would be the normal fee in return for a success fee to be agreed upon at the outset.
My fee is based on numerous factors, including the complexity of the engagement, the client’s financial and business needs, my personal and professional interest and experience regarding the legal and business issues presented. Since one has to have a basis for arriving at a valuation of one’s services, I utilize an hourly valuation that averages between $250 and $300.
In summary, I am very flexible in establishing my compensation with the goal of ensuring clients feel they are receiving value for their investment in time and money with me.
